Autism Bricks UK (ABUK) is a not-for-profit social enterprise supported by Specialist Autism Services, working exclusively for and with adults with Autism. Everybody at ABUK lives and breathes all things LEGO®. They sell new and preloved bricks and offer a wide range of LEGO® services.
ABUK provides meaningful work experience opportunities, and activities that help autistic people build confidence, skills, and social connections.
ABUK is supported by a fantastic team of individuals with a passion for LEGO®.
Specialist Autism Services has worked exclusively for and with adults (18+) on the autism spectrum and their families since 1999. They are a non-profit organisation that works with the charity Sacar to provide autism specific services across the Yorkshire region.
They provide a wide range of autism-specific services, including group social skills workshops, training, employment support, and personalised learning programmes for adults with autism. Under the name Autism First they also provide bespoke support for adults with autism and additional needs.
Their experience and expertise help shape the inclusive values behind Brick Bank Café.
We reinvest all of our profits back into our services to continue the positive work that we do.
We use the money generated to provide much needed in-house and community-based support for adults with autism.
Our café helps fund real projects, activities, and opportunities that make a positive difference for autistic people and the wider community.
